The poster of Deepa Mehta’s much-awaited Midnight’s Children. The film is the onscreen adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s 1980 Booker Prize-winning novel, which deals with India’s transition from British colonialism to Independence and the Partition of India.
The film is releasing November 2nd 2012 in Canada and the US; December 26 2012 in Ireland and the UK. It is, amid controversy, anticipated to have a December release in India.
