Aishwarya Rai Bachcan, will make her much awaited appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2012 and this time she’ll let go of all those designer gowns and dresses that she so effortlessly carried off, in her previous Canes appearances.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has opted for a sari and a few other Indian dresses this year, for her much awaited red carpet appearance at Cannes Film Festival.
Earlier, designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee had denied that he had been roped in to design dresses for Aishwarya’s Cannes appearance in 2012. It appears that Aishwarya, who is still fighting the weight that she gained before delivering the baby girl Aradhya, chose to hide her not so perfect frame in Indian ensembles. Panned for her initial Cannes appearances, Aishwarya managed to wow everyone ultimately, with her intelligent choice of outfits, as a L’OReal ambassador. She was a few weeks pregnant at her last appearance at Cannes, leading to the much reported ‘Heroine’ fiasco with director Madhur Bhandarkar.
