It’s been barely 3 days of Rockstar’s release, yet the word of mouth publicity, and the overwhelming support from critics has given Rockstar enough credibility to sail ahead strongly at the Box Office.
Lead actor Ranbir Kapoor’s performance has come in for great admiration, while actress Nargis Fakhri has been criticized for her lacking of acting skills. Overall, it’s the true star of the movie, the story/script, which has come out as the true reason for the film’s roaring approval by the audiences, as director Imtiaz Ali handled it so well, that the finer nuances lend strength to the big picture. All this, while A R Rahman’s music sounds unlike his amazing hits till a few years back.
Rockstar will surely make Ranbir Kapoor’s stars shine all the more brighter. And Imtiaz Ali, who struck a chord with Jab We Met, bungled a bit with Love Aaj Kal, has once again shown B-town that when you have a good script and a great direction skills, the movie is sure to e a winner.
