Sushil Kumar from Bihar, who won the Rs 5 crore jackpot on the superhit show Kaun Banega Crorepati, helped break all the previous TV rating records, making KBC the highest rated non fiction programme on Indian television, registering 7.2 and 8 TVR for the two episodes aired on Nov1, and Nov 2.
KBC has been a hit amongst the TV audience ever since it debuted on India’s television screens, but the first winner of the grand sum of Rs 5 crores, who is otherwise, a computer operator from Bihar earning a salary of just Rs 6 thousand, helped the nation unite, by guelng them to their TV screens and experience the amazing euphoria. According to just released stats, the shows were watched by 25 million and 27 million people in succession.
