After winning the hearts of the audience and scoring at the box office with Tanu Weds Manu, South Indian star R Madhavan is now paired with Bipasha Basu for another rib-tickling comedy titled Shaadi Fast Forward.
The film is being directed by Ashwini Chaudhary of Dhoop and Good Boy, Bad Boy fame. The film also stars Omi Vaidya, Dipannita and Mrinalini Sharma in important roles. The unit is now in Greece canning a couple of songs.
Ashwini says that this film is a romantic comedy with an unpredictable subject and a number of comic twists and turns. He feels that Bollywood fans are now in the mood to lap up comedies as the recent trend shows.
The first shooting schedule is said to be taking off in Greece and waiting for it, an excited Bipasha posted on her micro-blogging site – “Looking forward to my first day of my first ever romcom, Shaadi Fast Forward! Directed by Ashwini choudhary! Working with Madhavan will be awesome! Super actor:) Also starring in the film is my friend @OmiOneKenobe (Omi Vaidya)! Happy!”
Shaadi Fast Forward is expected to hit the screens in February 2012.
