Hrithik Roshan in Imtiaz Ali’s Next
Director Imtiaz Ali completes post-production of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the leas roles will finally be moving onto his next production. Eros International has signed the director for their next. Hrithik Roshan has been approached for the lead role in the film.
An industry source reveals, “Eros International signed Hrithik Roshan a couple of years back for an English film to be produced with Carving Dreams. But even after repeated story sessions, the project never took off. Now, Eros has gone back to Hrithik and want to make a film with him in the lead.”
The source further adds, “Eros is co-producing Saif Ali Khan’s home production Love Aaj Kal and are so impressed with the film’s director Imtiaz Ali that they thought he’d be an ideal choice for direct a movie with Hrithik starring. A few days back, Imtiaz gave Hrithik a lengthy narration. Apparently Hrithik loved the idea and is game for a project with the Jab We Met maker. Other paperwork is being okayed for the same project.”
Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na Sequel?
‘Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na‘ was the youth blockbuster last year from the director Abbas Tyrewala. The success of the film have made the director to think something more about the film.
Imran Khan started his career with a bang, giving his first blockbuster hit and the films also boosted the career of struggling actress Genelia D’Souza.
The Director has finally decided to bring a sequel to ‘Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na’ and has revelaed some details about the film. The sequel will focus on the character of Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza, Jai and Aditi, and the troubles they now face in their married life.
Genelia who has movies like “It’s My Life” with Harman Baweja, “Life Partner” with Fardeen Khan and “Hook Ya Crook” with John Abraham has admitted that the movie changed her career and it would be nice to reunite with the whole team. Read more
Asin to replace Katrina
Asin is the next B-Town girl, after the huge sucess of her debut film Ghajini. The Ghajini gal Asin is going to replace the laeading Bollywood Star, Katrina Kaif in the Yash Raj Project.
Asin played the ladylove of Aamir Khan in her debut film Ghajini, will soon be getting ready to play Shahrukh Khan’s darling in the untitled Yash Raj Project.
Initially, Katrina was to play the lead role but because of the ongoing war between the Shahrukh and Salman, YRF decided to replace Katrina. King Khan dose not want to connect anuthing which is linked directly or indirectly to Salman Khan and so he said to replace Katrina.
Asin luck is already on cloud 9 with the sucess of Ghajini. She got to sign Yashraj Project as her Priyadarshan’s project with Akshay Kumar postponed to March 2010. Asin is the next demanding B-town girl and is getting many offers not only of the films but also to endorse the products.
Asin is looking forward to London Dreams opposite Salman Khan and Ajay Deavgan.
