Hrithik Roshan starrer Kites is a romantic thriller. So expect for a thrilling action packed scenes, songs and dance locations. Anurag Basu directed Kites has scenes similar to the Hollywood flicks Bad Boys 2 and Gone in 60 Seconds.
Recently a difficult action sequence was shot in Santa Fe in New Mexico. The shot required a month long practice and was shot over a three days shoot. The scene was pretty much similar to the one in Bad Boys 2 where the villian pushes cars off an automobile mover (the vehicle that transports cars from the factory to the dealer) during a car chase.
For the shoot of the scene Rakeshji has rented a garage for a month where he kept the second hand cars he purchased. The cars were then modified to give the clean new look according to the action sequence.
The film has been shot extensively in US and lot of the foriegn crew members were also engaged.
The action scene was initially directed by Dick Ziker, but Rakesh Roshan was not satisfied with his work, so the same shot was re-shooted by action director Spiro Razatos and finally they got the best result for there project.
