Gulaal the next production of Anurag Kashyap is set to come on the box office soon. Looking at the promo of Gulaal, one wonders if Dev D was just a trailer when it comes to projecting the rawness on screen. The promos have said all that you need to see in the film. Audiences get ready for another explosive outing on the big screen.
Dev D was a musical with black humor dominating the proceedings, in case of Gulaal, it’s a high end dramatic quotient that will catch your attention. The film has a feudal setup that brings with it an element of revolution, student politics, greed of power, self respect and anger amongst others. Gulaal appears to be a yet another high voltage film from Anurag Kashyap and will show his real talent.
“This is a film that i have been passionate about shooting for quite some years now. After wrapping up with Dev D, I went staright into the shoot of Gulaal,” said Anurag.
The films stars Kay Kay Menon as the central protagonist. Gulaal is produced by zee Limelight, the banner that comes up with Oh My God last year. Also in the film are Deepak Dobriyal, Aditya Shrivastava, Piyush Mishra and Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh in principal roles, GULAAL also features Mahi Gill (who played Paro in DEV D). The film is all set for a 13th March release.
