Farhan’s Next – A Psychological Thriller

Farhan Akhtar has a penchant for working with the first time directors. Rock On!! is not the first film of Abhishek Kapoor, but it truely discovered the real talent of Abhishek. Farhan’s next release, Luck By Chance is also helmed by a first-timer, his sister Zoya Akhtar. the film has already created much hype in the industry and outside. The film is getting great reviews by everyone who watched the film.
After this great start Farhan is all set to face the camera again as an actor. “Kartik Calling Kartik” is his next movie directed by newcomer Vijay Lalwani. This one’s a psychological thriller.
Besides acting in his home productions, Farhan and his partner Ritesh Sidwani are all set for the next venture starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan.The film will be directed by Abhay Deo, who’s currently directing Aamir Khan‘s home production “Delhi Belly“.
So where does it leaves “DON 2“? As told by Farhan, DON2 has been shifted ahead. it was planned to begin shooting in summer this year, but Shahrukh Khan is busy with Karan Johar‘s film currently, so Farhan has decided to push it to the next year. In the meanwhile Farhan is also starting a new film this year, it’s a romantic comedy. The casting is yet to be finalized.
