Goldie Bhel who cast Abhishek Bachchan in his last movie “Bas itna sa khab hai” is back again after a long gap with Abhishek again. The producer spends lots of money in making this film big – big star cast, big canvas, big expenditure, big promotion, big sets, big expectations but movie turns out into big disappointment. The three writers of this movie comes with a disappointing screenplay. This film is a superhero based film. Abhishek Bachchan played the title superhero role Drona with Priyanka Chopra as his bodygaurd. The movie is filled with good sets and visuals but not good with its storyline.
Abhishek Bachchan was orphan aditya who never got love and care in his childhood. He actually happens to be descendent of a royal family who are entitled to safegaurd Amrit from demons. Sonia(priyanka chopra) reveals aditya his real identity of Drona as gaurdian of amrit. So in first part of film abhishek is getting himself realise who he is, and in second half he realises who he is, and then towards the end he do what he is suppose to do in movie, that is to kill the vilan Riz Raizada (kay kay menon). So nothing is new in this superhero storyline. So in movie Drona just reveals the secrets, fight demons, ride horse and win a battle. The fight is between good and evil to save the world and his mother jayanti devi(jaya bachchan).
The sets of this movie remind you all of the arabian nights sets, aladin, jasmeen and the abhishek bachchan reminds you of there monkey.In the movie the kay kay menon’s two favourite words are Gustakhi maaf but after seeing the movie i think goldie bhel should make these two words his favourite one because in coming days these words will help him more. So this movie was the poorly directed movie and a big disappointing too. Disappointing for the fact that huge amount of money was wasted on special effects of such a horrible movie. After watching this movie, the only dialog from this movie which i remember is that “hume shrishti ko bachana hoga”. so please dont waste your money on such a big failure plz avoid.
