That my friends is not Arabic, I know several dialects and it likely is either Turkish or Farsi (Persian). So whoever did that translation needs to check their records again.
Additionally, the way the words were sung is fairly out of the usual Turkish or Farsi dialogue. But I assure you that is NOT Arabic, other than the word sawaah/samaah.

    Mar jawaan, mar jawaan,
    I’ll die, I’ll die
    Tere ishq pe mar jawaan,
    I’ll die for your love
    Mar jawaan, mar jawaan,
    Tere ishq pe mar jawaan,

Bheege bheege sapno ka jaise khat hai,
A letter that is like rainy dreams
    Haii..
Geeli geeli chahat ki jaise lat hai,
A lat? that is like wet romance

    Mar jawaan, mar jawaan,
    Tere ishq pe mar jawaan,
    Mar jawaan, mar jawaan,
    Tere ishq pe mar jawaan…

Soche dil ki aisa kaash ho,
The heart thought it should be like this
Tujhko ek nazar meri talash ho,
You should find me in one glance

Jaise khwab hai ankhon mein basse meri,
Just like the dreams which lives in my eyes
Waise needon pe silvate pade teri,
Your folds of cloth are on my sleep

Bheege bheege armaano ki rahad hai,
    Rainy desires of peace
    Haii
Geeli geeli khwahish bhi to behad hai,
The wet wish is also too much
    Mar jawaan, mar jawaan,
    Tere ishq pe mar jawaan,
    Mar jawaan, mar jawaan,
    Tere ishq pe mar jawaan..

this song is just AMAZING! i’m still tryna find out what the first part means… i am 100% sure its NOT arabic, unless the singer is pronouncing all the words wrong. like ahmed said, only arabic is sawah n samah… i dunno what language it is… funny how no one’s found that out yet lol… maybe the producers need to be asked :P

what the hell’s wrong with Semina? whats religion got to do with a song? So only because yr a muslim yr able to understand and enjoy it better? Oh come on, stop dragging religion into everything. Makes one sick to the gut. and by the way, as a muslim, you shouldnt be listening to music that is not prayer based u fool. Just reflects on your knowledge of yr faith. apparently one might deviate from the faith. As a muslim its disgusting that you lot draw similarities of everything on earth to islam. Why you so insecure about yr faith? Yr comparing religion to ordinary music and singers?????

  55. Mahmoud Al-Sultan April 11, 2010 at 11:57 pm - Reply

    Hi everyone,

Mahmoud Al-Sultan is my name and i’m Arabic .here is the transcrition and the right translation of the Arabic part:

radadna ahna wa ant =رددنا احنا وانت

wa al hawa wa al Sama = و الهوى والسماء

radadna ahna wa ant = رددنا احنا وانت

wa al hadeqa wa a sama = و الحديقة والسماء

    now the transaltion :

radadna ahna wa ant =رددنا احنا وانت

means : we repeated it we & you

wa al hawa wa al Sama = و الهوى والسماء

means : and the air and sky

radadna ahna wa ant =رددنا احنا وانت

means : we repeated it we & you

wa al hadeqa wa a sama = و الحديقة والسماء

means : and the garden and the sky

lastly, I want to inform you that since some Arabic letter are not found in any language that is why the singer could not pronounced not sung properly. take this example :

Indian pronounce this sentance : he want= he vant

I hope everyone like the arabic part since Arabic song are very touching

    thanks

I think the sound of music provides all the understandings there is to know regardless of what religion u are.. I am african and even though i don’t understand the words to the song… I learn to love and understand it in my own interpretation… And i am fine with it… For example i went on the enternet lookin for a movie to watch..N i came across the movie fashion.. N ever sense i hured the fashion song by mar jawan i fell in love with it without even knowing the words or meaning to the song… So personally don’t think it matters what religion u are.. The sound of music provides all the understanding there is for all religion.. No disrepect to anyone.. I love u all… God bless :)
