Song analysis – ‘Is This Love‘ from Kismat Konnection… Aah! Such a breath of fresh air! Truly one of the most mesmerising tracks from the album Kismat Konnection. ‘Is This Love‘ from Kismat Konnection is the song that is going to give competition to both ‘Aai Paapi‘ and ‘Bakhuda Tumhi Ho‘ from the same album, beacuse this song is just so overpowering with it’s sense of love, that you just wanna close your eyesand imagine your loved one while listening to ‘Is This Love‘. Pritam surely has isen to the challenge of going beyond one of his most succesful albums last year ‘Jab We Met‘, because ‘Is This Love‘ from Kismat Konnection is one of the many beautiful numbers of this album. The singing is flawless and Mohit Chauhan just raises the bar for the singers! Aptly supported by Shreya Ghoshal, they go on to give you one of the purest songs ever heard. ‘Is This Love‘ from Kismat Konnection have some good lyrics too, by Sayeed Quadri , who must be loving the response which the songs these days are getting. ‘Is This Love‘ from Kismat Konnection has some of the most melodious chorus used, as is the case with Pritam’s songs where useless rap lyrics are kept at bay. Seems like the composer had put in his heart and soul in this song because ‘Is This Love‘ will definitely take you to another world, such is the beauty of this song, i.e. if you are ready to close your eyes… Do we some eyes shutting already?
