Song analysis - ‘Dil Ye Kahe‘ from Khushboo is burning the charts these days, but there’s a reason behind the success of ‘Dil Ye Kahe‘: Adnan Sami has caught the nerve of this dance track bang on man! In a long time comes a song which has lyrics that will make you smile, very cheerfully penned by who else but Javed Akhtar. Man! Just notice how ‘Dil Ye Kahe‘ from Khushboo leaves you beaming and all ready to forget your worries and dance it all away. The music doesn’t get low anywhere and you can just feel the beauty of ‘Dil Ye Kahe‘ grow on you as the song progresses. Hats off to Sunidhi Chauhan for infusing life into ‘Dil Ye Kahe‘ with her powerful vocals, especially at the end of the song where she shrieks yet does it with panache. The Latin words during the interludes might just make you go and take some Latin language classes to understand the beauty of Latin words seeping into Bollywood tracks. And wait, the good things don’t just end there. You got Shaan too man! How can we not mention the guy to whose tunes people sway like crazy? He gives Sunidhi equal competition. And Adnan Sami must be thanked heavily (as heavy as him?) for using the chorus with such style. The superb chorus adds gravitas to the song. Way to go man! We thank you too for adding to the joy of listening to ‘Dil Ye Kahe‘ from Khushboo!
