Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - still packs a punch!

Tadka spice - Aishwarya’s fan following might have virtually dipped post her marriage, but great work keeps her busy!

For Him Magazine India recently conducted a poll on who was the sexiest woman alive today and the results were a mix of beauties from both Hollywood as well as Bollywood! And the reigning queen bee of Hindi Film Industry, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was rated no.6 in the poll! Though beauties like Katrina Kaif (no. 1), Kareena Kapoor (no. 2), Deepika Padukone (no. 4) and Bipasha Basu (no. 5), all were voted ahead of her, but none of these beauties have got as interesting a career graph as Aishwarya, who put India on the world map!

Aishwarya has scotched al rumours of working only with husband Abhishek Bachchan, as well as starting a family with him! Aishwarya’s projects at hand have her paired opposite the likes of John Abraham, to working with Steve Martin and Rajnikanth. Reports suggest that she is even ready to remove her differences with King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, which cropped up during the shooting of Chalte Chalte. Yet the producers have been waiting all this while for this peice of news. Her internationally most awaited venture, which would have her working with Hollywood legend Meryl Streep is under final stages of pre-production.

About the movie with Meryl Streep, she said that the movie was being re-worked into an English version, from the actual French one. It was widely publicised two years back, and named Chaos, in which Aishwarya was reportedly playing a hooker, and Meryl Streep her saviour. But nothing concrete came out. In between Will Smith jokingly accused her of always turning him down for work, and she went ahead as an intrinsic part of Pink Panther 2, and has delivered this year’s biggest hit Jodhaa Akbar, while another one Sarkar Raj is on the verge of being declared a profitable hit, with critical acclaim.

With her platter full, Aishwarya need not worry about any competition. All the other ladies can revel in the glory of polls and stuff, but none of them will ever be able to come close to a phenomenon called Aishwarya Rai Bachchan! Period.
