Tips Industries Pvt. Ltd’s next venture Kismat Konnection, directed by Aziz Mirza has hit the screens, (at least the big ones, yet), and with the looks of it, all the viewers would like to ‘konnect’ to this enchanting promo, which is full of the same simple puppy-dog-eyed charm of it’s lead couple, the much awaited to be seen together, Vidya Balan and Shahid Kapoor! And with the first look of the Kismat Konnection, everything seems to be going well.
And since Vidya Balan has admitted that the guy in her life has his name starting with an ‘S’, you’d be more than interested to catch this one. The promo of Kismat Konnection hits off with a really peppy background score, and the first still of the Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan gazing amusedly at each other tells you straight away that this one is going to be a watch-out-for flick, and primarily because of Vidya-Shahid pairing. The way their seemingly comic scenes have been used in the promo might just remind you of the Kareena Kapoor-Shahid Kapoor magic of Jab We Met, but soon you’ll be left beaming with the teaser having no dialogues, yet packing a punch.
The taglines shown in between the promo of Kismat Konnection read “Life is full of hits and misses…”, completed by ” what if yours is always a… miss”. Quite attractive we say! The screwed up faces of Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan, in the promotions, amidst a backdrop of Toronto will make you expect a lot from the romantic comedy. Well, considering the fact that Aziz Mirza is at the helm of affairs and the much rumoured relationship of the lead stars Vidya Balan and Shahid Kapoor, there is immense potential in the movie, and if the promos are done the right way, they’ll surely mean big business.
The last shot of the Kismat Konnection promo has the lovelorn couple standing and enjoying the view at Niagara Falls, and we are sure that the movie would be as lovely as the pairing and the music itself. Well, India’s youngsters have a lot coming for them and this is just seemingly the icing on the came out of the potential blockbusters’ list. Now we just hope that Kismat Konnection packs enough of the succesful ingredients, and the Kismat of the movie Konnects bigtime with the viewers. Amen!
