Allah…

aani jaani… hai kahaani…
bulbule si… zindgaani…
banti kabhi bigadti…
tez hawa se ladti, bhidti…

ha raham, ha raham, farma e-Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, farma e-Khuda…
mehfuz har kadam karna e-Khuda, e-Khuda
mehfuz har kadam karna e-Khuda, e-Khuda…

Allah…

saanson ki sooti… dor anoothi…
jal jayegi… jal jayegi…
band jo laaye the, haath ki muthhi…
khul jayegi… khul jayegi…

armaan kare kayaa ye ujlee…
mitti mein mil jayegi..
chaahe jitni shamaayein raushan kar le…
dhoop to dhal jayegi, jayegi…

ha raham, ha raham, farma e-Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, farma e-Khuda…
mehfuz har kadam karna e-Khuda, e-Khuda
mehfuz har kadam karna e-Khuda, e-Khuda…

sone chamak mein, sikko khanak mein…
milta nahi… milta nahi…
dhool ke zarron mein, dhoonde koi tu…
milta wahin… milta wahin…

kya majaal teri marzee ke aage…
bando ki chal jayegi…
thaame ungli jo tu kathputli bhi…
chaal badal jayegi, jayegi..

ha raham, ha raham, farma e-Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, farma e-Khuda…
mehfuz har kadam karna e-Khuda, e-Khuda
mehfuz har kadam karna e-Khuda, e-Khuda…

ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…

ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…/khuda….
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…

ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…/Allah…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…/Allah….
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…

ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…/aa…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…/Allah…
ha raham, ha raham, Khuda…

Song analysis – All right folks! Here we are, bringing to you the lyrics of ‘Ha Raham (Mehfuz)‘ from Aamir. Rajeev Khandelwal must must must thank the music director Amit Trivedi for composing such beautiful tracks for his debut movie, because going by the past track record, songs have been a major draw for audiences of Bollywood. ‘Ha Raham (Mehfuz)‘ from Aamir is arguably the best track of the whole lot, and needless to say will stay with you for long time. What works for ‘Ha Raham (Mehfuz)‘ from Aamir the most, is the simplicity. ‘Ha Raham (Mehfuz)‘s lyrics by Amitabh are as simple yet beautiful as anything. The music is downright sufi touch and flows like a stream of melody. And what makes ‘Ha Raham (Mehfuz)‘ from Aamir a winner is the singing, which has been done by the trio of singer-lyricist-music director, namely Murtuza-Qadir-Amitabh-Amit Trivedi, and is the high point of ‘Ha Raham (Mehfuz)‘. Though you shouldn’t blame us if you get high on this song. We hope that the rest of the tracks of Aamir are recieved and turn out as well. All the best to Rajeev Khandelwal, and hats off to Murtuza-Amitabh-Amit. Keep listening :)

Good work on putting up this song’s lyrics. I’m sure many ppl must be thanking you for this. Since I totally am into this awesome track, I would like to make some changes to ur lyrics.

    1) First line: Its “Aani” instead of “Paani”
    2) Instead of “Dhoop badal jayegi, jayegi…” it should’ve been “Dhoop tho Dhal jaayegi, jaayegi”
    3) For the paragraph
sone chamak mein, sikko khanak mein…
    milta nahi… milta nahi…
dhool ke zarron mein, dhoonde kahin tu… (Sounds like “koi” instead of “kahin”)
milta nahi… milta nahi… (here it should be “milta wahi, milta wahi”)

    4) “mehfuz har kadam karna e-Khuda, meh-Khuda”
there is no meh it should be “ae-khuda”

Kya gumaan kare, kaayaa ye ujlee

    and

thaame ungli jo tu kathputli bhi…

    is

    Very soul rendering lyrics indeed

But i thinnk that the line:

“armaan kare kaya yeh ujli ” is infact KYA GUMAAN KARE, KAYA YEH UJLI MITTI MEIN MIL JAYEGI.

    This also makes sense.

The song is very good and it describes very neatly the Greatness of God.
But one thing i want to tell to siddharth that Allah doesnt want that any body should sit and praises for Him. Actually HE doesnt need us BUT WE NEED HIM……..
so never say that this song gives credit to Him what he doesnt deserves..
There is not so at all… i hope u understand………
    Dont ever say like this……….
    bye

This is a wonderful song , the lyrics are beautiful. You realise what you are and what is your ultimate fate……..An eye opener……..
but u cannot praise the lyricist alone..
.. the song has grabbed the attention because of the melodious tune. …..very subtly executed.

Hats of to Amit Trivedi.i knew him for about 4 months or so …..and i vaguely remember that he was music oriented from an early age.
In the classes, Mr Chauhan ( the prof) was always upset with him……….but his music has proved all wrong………….
Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler.
    GOOD LUCK AMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

The lyrics of the song are spiritual, philosophical, divine and much more. It shows the greatness of Creator(Allah = God = Ishver = Supreme Being) and how human beings and others (His overall creation) are fragile before Him.

To comprehend and understand (and enjoy) full meaning of this songs, listeners must know the language, context and usage of words.

Urdu, Arabic, Persian and everyday spoken Indian words are used throughout this song. Indeed, the music composition made it very touching.

Pay attention to these divine lines below:

“band jo laaye the, haath ki muthhi…
    khul jayegi… khul jayegi…”

When a baby do comes out of mother’s womb his/her fists are closed and they will be open eventually.

Clearly the best ever rendition of Sufism that I’ve ever hear. just an observation :
    ‘armaan kare kayaa ye ujlee…
    mitti mein mil jaayegi.’

    is actually,
‘Kya gumaan kare, kaaya ye ujlee…
    mitti mein mil jayegi.’

    regards.
