Tadka spice - Haal-E-Dil is creating waves on the small screen with it’s music, and it’s got quite a great score for a movie starring all newcomers!

So you think Bollywood newcomers never had it so good? You are right! Haal-E-Dil’s music has been creating waves from television promos for quite some days now and it’s time now to put on your glasses and introspect the score which seems all set to create ripples on charts!

Haal-E-Dil’s title track ‘Haal-E-Dil‘ is a lovely number composed by Vishal Bhardwaj (wow!) with lyrics by Munna Dhiman, and a very captivating aspect of the song is the singing by the duo Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal. The song is mesmerising, with a tone of longing and craving in love lending it a beautiful aura. Vishal Bhardwaj proves that he is as much a great director as a music composer. The use of sounds is quite fresh in ‘Haal-E-Dil‘.

Anand Raaj Anand teams up with lyricist Sameer to come up with a song which will hit you with Sonu Nigam’s ultra-cool vocals, in the song ‘Jeeta Hoon‘. The song has female voice by Pamela Jain, but it isn’t as much high on either lyrics or music, as it is on Sonu Nigam’s voice which just doesn’t let your attention go away, and that makes ‘Jeeta Hoon‘ a good track, if not a great one!

And here’s the best song of the album Haal-E-Dil, ‘Agg Lage Aaj Kal De Fashion Nu‘ where Labh Janjua and Hard Kaur team up to give you a dance track that will soon be having you burning the dance floor. Pritam’s music will bowl you over and so will the lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed, but the camaraderie of Hard Kaur with the naturally Punjabi accent of Labh Janjua makes this a go getter right from the start. The male-female wars are subtle yet the heart of the lyrics in the best track from Haal-E-Dil.

Rang‘ again draws your attention with Sonu Nigam singing to, guess what, Raghav Sachar’s tunes! Yup, the kiddo musical genius comes up with a colorful track in ‘Rang‘ and manages to not spoil it’s beauty, and is ably supported by Aditya Dhar’s lyrics, which compares love’s various moods to myriad things from life. Though one doubts if it’ll be able to stay with the listeners for long.

If Sonu Nigam is seen catching your attention, then Udit Narayan is just behind him with the track ‘Oye Hoye‘, where he teams up with Pamela Jain. Anand Raaj Anand and Sameer are once again the music director-lyricist duo behind this one, but don’t let the ‘Oye Hoye‘ make you believe that it is one of those Bhangra tracks. It’s a charming number, with some Punjabi verses thrown in nevertheless, and the feel-good factor of this song will make you give it a try at least once.

It’s Sonu Nigam-Anand Raaj Anand-Sameer once again, for the track ‘Rani‘ from Haal-E-Dil. It’s amazing how this trio dwells on the singer’s voice and comes up with one hummable track after another, though Sameer’s lyrics this time offer the old wine in new bottle kinds stuff. Didn’t we use to have such music and lyrics about ten years back? But, what the heck! Sonu Nigam comes to rescue once again, and so does the fast music.

Raghav Sachar is at it again! ‘Khwahish‘ is yet another beautiful track with lyrics by Aditya Dhar, and singing by, well well, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan and the composer Raghav Sachar himself! It kinda reminds you initially of ‘Tu Aashiqui Hai’ from Jhankaar Beats, but gets it’s own form soon. The singing is cool, and pretty simple (re:hummable). This is definitely one song which Kumar Mangat must use for the promos of his beautiful daughter’s debut opposite two chocolate boys.

Well, we have a remix of ‘Rang‘ by Raghav Sachar himself, but we’ll leave that one out for you to try. But you must listen to ‘Phoonk De‘ lady Rekha Bhardwaj score a high in the female version of Haal-E-Dil, and let us know what you think about her. The original soundtrack of Haal-E-Dil is out on T-Series. Go, grab your copy now!
