Sonali Bendre is returning, and this time it is the small screen which will be graced by her presence. The smiling bumble bee , who left movies to set up her home with Goldie Behl will be making an appearance on Mr and Miss Television, where she is the judge with Madhur Bhandarkar. She was one of the first Indian actresses to host a tv show. And this would be her appearance after about five years, since she was seen in Karan Johar’s Kal Ho Naa Ho. And the viewers can’t wait for her to smile her way back into their hearts!
Mahima Chaudhary is another actress who reigned supreme when she debuted with Subhash Ghai’s Pardes, opposite Shah Rukh Khan, back in 1997. But her career never saw the same high again. She gradually got out of the limelight and post marriage, and motherhood alike, she is making a comeback of sorts as a judge on yet another reality show.
Reality tv was big till some time back, when it lost it’s sheen to scandals and a gradual drop in audiences with numerous options. But it worked wonders for sizzlers like Urmila Matondkar, who doesn’t have a single hit to her credit post Ram Gopal Verma’s Bhoot, though critical praise for her roles like in Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s Pinjar. But television not only gives them the much neede focus, but the money too, which has significantly dropped due to the new breed.
With most of Indian Film Industry waiting for yesteryear bombshells like Sridevi and Karisma Kapoor to make a comeback, their slightly lesser successful counterparts have decided to hog the headlines and the attention, through small screen. And while the audiences keep waiting for them to create magic on the big screen, till then they can find reprieve in the other actresses who are coming back to charm one and all. It’s only a matter of time before we will have them grace the telly with their shimmer… and how! Amen!

wel,yeah,relaity shows did gain mega-popularity once,but now due 2 monotony in da concept of all shows,and da increasing rate of drama created,these shows r struggling 2 keep themselves on da tv! lets see wht bendre nd choudhary do 2 bring da charm of reality tv!
