Tadka spice - The verdict is out and you have got more reasons to watch this one, than for missing it!

Ajay Devgan gets behind the camera, and the world waits to watch what he has got in store for us. Amidst all the hype sorrounding U, Me Aur Hum, the audience is more than willing to watch the magic of Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha pair again, after a looong time. Kajol is back on screen with her husband, and there is nothing that should have gone wrong with the movie, yet it does. But the finely crafted second half of U, Me Aur Hum manages to make up for it all.

Ajay Devgan’s directorial debut U, Me Aur Hum has got a striking relation to Aamir Khan’s directorial debut Taare Zameen Par. While Aamir’s Taare Zameen Par made dyslexia awareness it’s focal point, Ajay’s U, Me Aur Hum is a nice take on Alzheimer’s disease, which Kajol’s character suffers from in the movie. The first half is all about wooing stuff and mushy romance on the high seas, but lacks magnetism. It’s only when Ajay manages to throw away the rose tinted glasses, that the reality strikes!

And how! He manages to put up a good narrative and as usual, Kajol takes the cake when it comes to stealing the thunder. Even Ajay’s finesse sems to fall behind her own. She makes you believe yet again that if there are any female forces to reckon with in the Indian Film Industry, she is definitely there at the top for her sheer acting talent, besides everything else. The songs of the movie are a fair mix of some good and some not soo good, the music by Vishal Bhardwaj goes well with the flow, and the mesmerising views one enjoys on the big screen have been aptly captured by Ajay Devgan in U, Me aur Hum.

All in all, Tadka verdict is that watch it for Ajay Devgan and Kajol, even if you don’t find the first half that good… be patient, coz the beauty lies a few shots away! Enjoy U, Me aur Hum.
