Tadka question – NDTV Imagine is the hot spice these days, with it’s innovative and sensibly executed programmes. Here’s a sneak peak at some of them.

Are you sick of the saas-bahu sagas, and all the crap that is shown of Indian televiosn these days? If yes, then read on to why and how, NDTV imagine will make you stick to your couch.

It has been only a handful of weeks since NDTV‘s entertainment channel Imagine went on air, and it’s already making waves, and how! The channel has caught on with the masses because of the unique treatment and the fresh plots of it’s programmes. The most popular is Jassuben Jayantilal Joshi Ki Joint Family, a saga of a joint family which is totally different from Ekta Kapoor’s sob-operas. The serial is a story of two young lovers, and their families and all the rivalry, hatred, love and bonding that the different characters share with each other, in a heart-warming way.

Another serial riding the popularity charts is Nachle Ve With Saroj Khan, where the queen of Bollywood dance, Saroj Khan herself comes on air every evening of the weekdays, to teach you the dance that has made her the supreme force in Indian Film Industry today. Not just this, she shares interesting stories of actual shootings with the stars as well, and gives ample time for the audiences to follow them with practice. This is as close as everyone can get to Saroj Khan aka Masterji for dance training. And if you aren’t left impressed with that, we wonder what will!

Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain is anther one of NDTV Imagine‘s revolutionary attempts, where audiences can learn the finer nuances of the language English, while sitting right inside their living rooms. The channel has found the perfect teacher in a smiling and caring Arpita (screen name), and the marketing has caught everyone in the perfect way, showing persons from various backgrounds casting aspersions on their ability to learn English in different stages of life, yet finding a resounding ‘Yes!’ as an answer in their ever smiling teacher.
