Song analysis - Music composer Raghav Sachar, has scored another high with the song ‘Rock Mahi‘ from One Two Three. ‘Rock Mahi‘, from the first impression looks like just another fast paced peppy number, which might take time to get down well with the listeners, but it is not due to the music or the singing, as much it is with the lyrics of the song. The lyrics of ‘Rock mahi‘ from One Two Three are by Aditya Dhar, but when one listens to the opening lines, it is nothing to write home about. The lyrics of ‘Rock mahi‘ first sound like old wine in a new bottle. You have to wait till Sunidhi Chauhan’s part of the lyrics, which are different from the usual humdrum. But Raghav Sachar and Sunidhi Chauhan have sung it quite well. Another problem with the song is the chorus, which by the end of the song gets too loud and difficult to bear listening to. Raghav Sachar starts ‘Rock mahi‘ with nice music but mediocre lyrics, but ends it too loud yet with better lyrics!
