Tadka question - It might be costing 399 bucks, but then you’ll watch the phenomenon called Chak De! India quite a lot more times, won’t you?

Finally, it is here! Yash Raj Home Entertainment has recently released DVD of Shimit Amin directed Chak De! India. Priced at Rs 399, it has got everything you wanted to know about the movie. The two-DVD pack consists of a movie DVD and a special features DVD. And unlike many other ’special feature’ DVDs which are added to shoot the price sky high, this one is a sheer treat.

The Chak De! India DVD has got all the right reasons for you to go ahead and buy it without a second thought. It has got twenty-two deleted scenes (that’s a lot), which will enchant you just like the movie itself. For instance, the player Gul’s family background, and a superbly exciting match sequence against another team, in the semi-finals.

Want more? It’s the Jharkhand girls trying the queen’s language, and many such scenes which you wish you saw in the movie hall itself. But not just that, you have the usual making of the film, and music videos too. Besides this, they have also provided the special features done on the movie by leading channels like NDTV 24X7, amongst others. But unlike the many other DVDs launched these days, this one doesn’t feature a director’s commentary!

Priced at RS. 399, it’s worth every penny that you are gonna shell-out for it. After all it is the movie which united the voices of so many Indians across the globe itself, and the name of which has become the un-official national sports anthem. Go ahead. Grab it!

Oh! Did we forget to mention the DVD of the movie itself? ;)
