When Alka Yagnik sang the song ‘Pyaar ke liye chaar pal kum nahi the‘ from the movie Dil Kya Kare, little would she have guessed that her crooning would touch countless heartstrings across the globe. The movie Dil Kya Kare might not have done wonders for at the BO, but the songs of this movie were a rage and topped the charts for countless weeks, especially the lyrics of the song ‘Pyaar ke liye‘. Written by Anand Bakshi, the lyrics of ‘pyaar ke liye‘ from Dil Kya Kare brought entirely new lines to sad songs genre, and went on to prove that Alka Yagnik reigned supreme. Jatin-Lalit kept the music neat and low, and a song which could easily have been overdone, came out as a master piece, thanks to the music director duo.
