The risky business of horse racing, combined with a plot of a marriage, two hot bookies, a supermodel, and in true Abbas-Mustan style, a murder, all weaved into one helluva ride, called Race.
Abbas-Mustan, who last tasted true success with Aitraaz, which released just about three years back in November, 2004, and with a lukewarm response to 36 China Town, which came just six months after that, have a lot at stake with Race. Their last movie Naqaab, released last year, sank without a trace.
And with a superhot cast which has Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshaye Khanna along with the hotties Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy, the expectations are as high as anything. The promos which first came with just a mysterious background soundtrack, have now a sizzling number ‘Allah duhaai hai‘, to add to their charm.
The stars are looking as hot as ever, and leading the looks category are the talk of the town, Saif Ali Khan, and Bipasha Basu. Both allegedly hit it off quite well and sparked rumours of an alleged affair which turned out to be nothing but smoke without fire! Saifu’s toned body is having gals going gaga over him, while Bipasha’s abs-olutely sexy looks have once again tickled the male audiences.
Katrina Kaif isn’t far behind with her sensual curves, and though Sameera Reddy looks a bit out of place with her not so lean look, one can only hope that she doesn’t spoil the broth. Akshaye Khanna, who has become a regular with the Abbas-Mustan tag, will provide stiff competition to Anil as well as Saif in the acting department. Anil Kapoor too seems to rock the party.
But it’s the typical Abbas-Mustan twist in the story, which will have everyone lining up to see the movie.
Three of the songs have been done by Atif Aslam, and one of them is featuring Taz, of Stereo Nation fame. The movie has a hot number picturised on the smoking hot stars Saif and Bipasha themselves. With so much to offer, we hope that Abbas-Mustan win this Race, and continue to keep the cash registers ringing for a lot of time at the BO!
