Song analysis – The track ‘is pal ki soch‘ from Halla Bol is a serious let down, which has little to deliver and has just one high – the voice behind it, Harshdeep Kaur, who lends it a sensual touch and a mysterious aura. Sukhwinder Singh‘s composition has little in terms of freshness and the song has the most cliche/predictable lines as far as the lyrics go, which is the biggest downer, in what could have been a scorcher of a song. But even then the singer Harshdeep, manages to give it a different edge altogether, and former Miss India Sayali Bhagat can be seen swaying to the tunes in the video, which might act as a respite for those disappointed with the song’s music and lyrics. Bollywood Tadka recommends though, that your ears give the song one shot, at least!
