Song analysis - Javed Akhtar sure knows how to provide the x-factor to a song. And with a song featuring two hotties from both the male and female world, you gotta strike it ‘write’! And the veteran lyricist manages to do so, even if it is the same old ‘phool/kalliyaan/sitaare/aanchal’ to fill in the gaps. But it is the music of the song which gets the best of you, composed by Pritam in such a tantalising way that you wouldn’t care for the words for a while at least. The song is sheer enjoyment and fun, and will soon find it’s way to the dance floors across the globe. The english lyrics provide something new this time around, though done in UK style pertaining to the film having been completely shot in Great Britain. Neeraj Shridhar rocks the world of singing in this one, and surely, any Rumana would come along and read the ‘ishq ka kalma’ with her balma, if such songs keep coming. So what are you waiting for?
