Song analysis: Rekha Bhardwaj is the wife of ace director Vishal Bhardwaj, who has not only given masterpieces to Indian cinema like Omkara and Maqbool, but has also provided much wanted children’s movies. He prompted his wife to take up singing with the song ‘Namak Issk Ka’ from Omkara, and as we know, the song is a rage till date. Here again, Rekha lends her raw earthen appeal voice to sultry Bipasha Basu in a completely different scenario. The song manages to rev up the listener with the sounds (everything from the dhol to the drums) which have been aptly captured by music director Vishal Bhardwaj (the ace has many feathers in his cap), and the beautiful lyrics are by none other than Gulzar again, who won the huge applauds for Omkara itself. The song is surely going to be a run away success and everything from the beats to the prologue (if you may call so) will vie for each bit of your attention. The song has been shot in a smoking hot way, with the real life couple John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, and is already scorching up the screen. Just notice the sharp gaze which Bips gives to John in the end, pointing a revolver at him, while he asks for ‘maachis’… enjoy the song!

The song is so intoxicating that those who dont smoke/ drink will go high. HonestlyI do not understand music scitifically but I understand that the song is fantastic…. Amazing job.. Vishal keep it up
